Join us for the first-ever Tech Zero hackathon, supported by Kraken.

This two-day ‘hackathon’ is bringing together developers, designers, and magic-makers to work on real-life sustainability problems in tech.

When: 1st-2nd July, 10am registration 

Where: The Vinyl Factory, London, with awards and reception at the Octopus Energy Group Offices

You will have access to the venue until 10pm on the first day, for you and your teams to work as you wish.

Teams will be provided with the tools, APIs, guidance and freedom to work on software or hardware solutions that could improve both your business and your climate impact. 

Amazing prizes are up for grabs, including a £20k grant with support to develop the winning idea, Patagonia vouchers, Back Market vouchers and an Octopus Energy EV experience.

This two day event will be fully catered with complimentary breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks and coffee available whenever you’d like - everything you need to get your best work done!

Each team will get a chance to present in front of some of the best-in-tech, and meet like-minded, action-driven innovators afterwards at the reception.

We’d love as many companies as possible to join us, but spaces are limited.

In the 3 years since launching, Tech Zero has become one of the UK’s largest tech movements committed to climate action, helping hundreds of tech companies to understand net zero, operate more sustainably, and collaborate to drive change. Now, with the support of Octopus Energy and Founders Forum, we’re making it bigger and better than ever, and kicking off with a relaunch event on Tuesday 2nd of July. 

Join Greg Jackson, the CEO of Octopus Energy, and Carolyn Dawson, the CEO of Founders Forum, along with the Tech Zero founders and execs from the best in tech, to celebrate the next chapter of climate action for the tech industry.

This event will chart the progress of Tech Zero since its launch, and outline the plans for the future. Plus, we’ll see the results and award the winners of the first-ever Tech Zero Hackathon.
